Binbrook Baptist Church has implemented a formal policy to ensure the safety of children, youth and vulnerable adults.   Our policy is summarized as follows;

• A written policy that has been approved by the Elders board and periodically reviewed to ensure conformance with the requirements of our insurance policy
• All youth activities are conducted in public spaces
• Our church nursery is equipped with a one-way mirror
• Weekday youth programs are staffed at minimum with one adult male and female volunteer
• Anyone wanting to volunteer in any of our church ministries must supply a police check and two (2) references which are contacted by our policy administrator
• All volunteers are provided a copy of our policy and receive training on its compliance requirements
• Police checks are redone every 5 years
